1 week backlog and spending half of the amount that has been speending before
From Scratch to #1 on Google Maps
New website. New Google Business Profile. Built from the ground up and pushed into the top local positions.
- THE REAL PROBLEM
Why Tree Service Companies Need Specialized Marketing (Not Generic Agencies)
Tree service companies get into trouble when their entire pipeline depends on referrals, Angi, Thumbtack, one Google Ads campaign or an SEO company telling them to “wait another six months.”
- Then one channel slows down.
- The phone gets quiet.
- And your crews feel it first

Shared Leads
Angi and Thumbtack can sell the same opportunity to multiple tree companies. Now you’re competing for a lead you already paid for.

One-Channel Dependency
If your entire pipeline depends on Google Ads, referrals or one ranking, one bad month can leave crews without enough work.

The “SEO Takes Time” Excuse
SEO does take time. That doesn’t mean your marketing company gets six months to do nothing while you wait.
You don't need one source of leads You need multiple ways for homeowners to find and choose you.
- THE SYSTEM
Four Growth Engines. One Goal: Keep Your Crews Working.
Instead of betting your business on one marketing channel, we build multiple customer acquisition engines that work together, so your company can generate demand now while building long-term visibility.

01 — Google Maps
Get Found When Homeowners Search Nearby.
Google Business Profile optimization, weekly activity, reviews, competitive analysis and GeoGrid tracking designed to move you higher across your service area.

02 — Organic Search
Turn Your Website Into an Asset That Compounds.
Service pages, city pages, technical SEO, content and backlinks designed to put your company in front of homeowners already searching for tree work.

03 — Paid Demand
Generate Calls While Organic Rankings Grow.
Google Ads, Local Services Ads and Meta campaigns built around the services your company actually wants more of.

04 — Direct Mail
Reach Homeowners Before They Ever Search Google.
Targeted campaigns put your company directly inside the homes and neighborhoods you want to work in.
One company. Multiple ways to get hired.

- FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
Questions Tree Service Owners Ask Before Hiring Us.
1. How quickly can I expect results?
Paid campaigns can start generating opportunities within the first 30 days, and direct mail can begin producing responses shortly after the campaign hits homes. Google Maps and SEO take longer to compound — typically 4–6 months. We use faster channels while the long-term ones are growing.
2.How long does it take to see results from tree service SEO and Google Ads?
Paid channels can move much faster than SEO. Google Ads and Local Services Ads can begin generating opportunities shortly after campaigns are approved and launched, depending on budget, competition and verification. Google Maps improvements can start becoming meaningful within roughly 60 to 90 days in some markets. When we start with a weak Google Business Profile or website, we have seen direct call volume improve substantially within 90 to 120 days. Organic SEO usually needs around 4 to 6 months to show stronger compounding growth. These are benchmarks, not guaranteed timelines.
3. Will you work with another tree company in my area?
Not inside the same protected county. Digital Farmers works with one tree service client per protected county. Once your territory is protected, we do not accept another direct tree service competitor targeting the same county.
4. What happens if I already have a website or marketing agency?
We audit what you already have before changing anything. If something is working, we keep it. If it’s hurting performance, we fix or rebuild it. You don’t lose good work just because you switch to Digital Farmers.
5. Do I own my website and advertising accounts?
Yes. Your domain, website, Google Business Profile, advertising accounts, creatives, data, CRM, and marketing assets belong to you. If you ever leave Digital Farmers, you keep everything.
6. How much should I spend on advertising?
It depends on your market, competition, service area, and growth goals. During your strategy call, we’ll review local search demand and recommend a budget based on the opportunity in your market. We do not charge a percentage markup on your ad spend.
7. Does this work in smaller markets?
It can. We work in both larger and smaller markets, but there has to be enough search demand to justify the investment. We check your market before recommending anything. If there isn’t enough opportunity, we’ll tell you.
8. Am I locked into a long-term contract?
No. There are no long-term contracts. If you decide Digital Farmers is no longer the right fit, you can cancel, and you keep everything we built for your company.
9. Is direct mail included in every plan?
No. Our Crew Builder plan is digital-only. Direct mail is included in our Growth Engine and Market Dominator plans, with the volume depending on the package you choose.
10. Do you sell leads?
No. Digital Farmers is not a shared lead marketplace. We build and manage the systems that generate opportunities directly for your tree service company. The homeowner calls your business, fills out your form and enters your customer database. You are building an acquisition channel for your own company instead of renting access to someone else’s audience.
11. How fast can you get started?
We spend about 30 minutes looking at your market, competitors, current Google visibility, search demand, and the biggest opportunities we see. If we believe we can help, we’ll explain what we would do. If the market isn’t a good fit, we’ll tell you that too.
12. What happens on the Strategy Call?
We review your service area, competitors, current Google visibility, website, available search demand and the main gaps in your customer acquisition system. If we believe there is an opportunity, we will show you where we would start and which growth engines make the most sense. If we do not think the market or timing is a good fit, we will tell you. You can book the call at https://digitalfarmers.agency/calendar/
13. How do you handle seasonal fluctuations in tree service demand?
We plan for slow periods before they arrive. During storm season or high-demand months, paid campaigns can focus on emergency work, removal and the areas where your crews can respond efficiently. During slower periods, we continue building SEO and Google Maps visibility while using direct mail, retargeting, customer reactivation, reviews, email and SMS to create additional opportunities. Companies with an established CRM and customer database are less dependent on finding a completely new customer every time demand slows.
14.What kind of ROI should a tree service owner expect from investing $2,500 per month in marketing?
There is no responsible fixed ROI promise because your average ticket, close rate, service area, competition, advertising budget and crew capacity all affect the result.
A better way to evaluate the investment is through the economics of your business. If a campaign generated 50 qualified opportunities at approximately $45 per lead, that would require about $2,250 in media spend. If your company closed 15 of those opportunities and the average job was $2,000, that would represent $30,000 in booked work before considering repeat business or referrals.
That example is for illustration only. Our goal is to track your actual cost per lead, lead quality, close rate and revenue so we can make decisions based on your numbers instead of industry promises.
15.Do you work with tree services that already have a marketing person or agency?
Yes. We start by auditing what already exists. If your website, ads, SEO, CRM or internal marketing person is producing something valuable, we do not replace it simply because it was not built by us. We can work alongside an existing team, take over specific channels or rebuild the parts that are limiting performance. The objective is to improve the system, not create unnecessary work.
15.How do you make sure the leads are high-quality instead of tire-kickers or price shoppers?
We control as many quality signals as possible before the lead reaches you. That includes geographic targeting, service-specific keywords, negative keywords, dedicated landing pages, Google Maps optimization, call tracking and campaign segmentation by service. We also review what happens after the conversion. A lead outside your service area or asking for a service you do not offer should not be treated the same as a homeowner requesting a high-value tree removal estimate. That feedback is used to improve campaigns every week.
16.What happens if I want to pause or cancel my marketing?
We recommend thinking in twelve-month cycles because SEO, Google Maps rankings, reviews and customer data become more valuable over time. However, we do not want to keep a client who no longer wants to work with us. If you cancel, you keep the assets created for your business, including your website, domain, Google Business Profile, advertising accounts, data, creatives and CRM assets that belong to your company. Pauses can be discussed based on the channels involved because stopping advertising and stopping an ongoing SEO program have different effects.
17.How does direct mail work?
Our Growth Engine plan includes 2,000 mailed pieces per month. We handle the homeowner targeting, design, copy, printing and mailing. Additional pieces cost $0.65 each, including printing and mailing, with a minimum additional drop of 2,000 pieces. Depending on the strategy, we may use targeted homeowner lists or EDDM, Every Door Direct Mail. Direct mail can be especially useful for reaching established homeowners who have the property profile and purchasing power that fit higher-value tree services.
